These figures represent the number of individuals or communities that Kaalmo Community Welfare has impacted in various areas of intervention.
1. Health Care.
Provided assistance to 52 individuals, including women, men with mental illness, disabled persons, and elderly people for eye sight restoration.
2. Education Assistance.
Assisted 1,450 underprivileged rural young people and orphanage children in Kismayo, Lower Juba, Jubaland state of Somalia with education support.
3. Sustainable Livelihoods.
Created sustainable livelihood opportunities for 7,435 individuals from internally displaced persons (IDPs), orphanages, and elderly individuals without children.
4. Shelters
Supported 13 affordable houses for 13 households including elderly individuals, persons with disabilities (PWDs), people with mental illness, and those without relatives.
5. WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene).
Kaalmo has implemented water tracking initiatives for 35,438 persons in Luglow Settlement in Kismayo and Bardhere in Jubaland state, Somalia. This ensures reliable access to safe drinking water and promotes essential hygiene practices, creating a clean and healthy environment.
