In a compassionate effort to make a positive impact, Kaalmo's water tracking initiative reached out to 520 households in the western region of Kismayo subdistrict during the initial days of Ramadan. On March 16, the team visited households in Allan Sakuur, Qarsaa, and Barkada Sharifada, followed by visits to Hadaafow and Hamareyste on March 17.

Under the thoughtful guidance of Iidle Aden Mohamed, the initiative focused on identifying and addressing water-related challenges faced by the residents of these communities. Committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, the team worked diligently to ensure that all 520 households had access to clean and safe water.

Mr. Iidle Aden Mohamed, a respected community leader and advocate for sustainable development, underscored ensuring clean water access for all residents. By reaching out to households in need and implementing sustainable solutions, the initiative provided immediate relief and laid the groundwork for long-term water security in the region.

Through collaboration with Somali donors from the local community and the diaspora, Kaalmo's efforts have not only brought assistance to the 520 households in the Kismayo subdistrict but have also inspired a sense of unity and purpose within the community. By prioritizing clean water access and management, the team is contributing to a healthier, more resilient, and prosperous future for all.

Join us in recognizing the impact of Kaalmo's water-tracking initiative and the exceptional leadership of Iidle Aden Mohamed. Together, we can continue to create positive change and build a better world for generations to come.
